With a class token (enrollment token of mode class) the request gets the class default, unless its source address resolves to a member with its own config (agents/telegraf.md, class mode).

Equals desired_since of the instance (class token: of the member or class default the address resolves to); changes only when the served artifact changes.

Missing or invalid credentials.

Pending approval, or quarantined before any config was served. A quarantined instance keeps getting the artifact last served to it. Class tokens get the class default instead.

No config rendered yet (config.not_rendered) or the class default fails to render (config.render_error); retry.
