GET 
/agent/v1/vector/config

Polled by Vector's http provider every poll_interval_secs. Vector ignores the status code, so every error answers with a JSON body, which does not parse as TOML, and the agent keeps the config it runs (agents/vector.md §3).

Rendered TOML of the desired artifact with the caller's token, the artifact hash and the secret values the agent may receive filled in. A secret delivery is audited when the instance is first served the artifact.

401

Missing or invalid credentials.

403

Pending approval, or quarantined before any config was served. A quarantined instance keeps getting the artifact last served to it.

503

No config rendered yet (config.not_rendered; a first request waits up to 15 s for the first render), or a referenced secret is not deliverable to the agent (config.secret_unavailable).
